Laura Nikiel Hi! Welcome to my gallery! I'm a published illustrator and I love to make art.

I'm from rural Indiana, a graduate of Indiana State University and started my career working as a graphic designer/illustrator in corporate marketing for Simon Property Group, Fischer-Price and OpenNetwork Technologies.

I'm now living my dream as a freelance illustrator and artist, working out of my studio in Haughton LA. After years of working on illustration publishing projects, I've found my way back to painting with watercolors - an unpredictable and wonderful medium!

When not in my studio you can find me taking a walk with my Boxer pups in the Louisiana woods are exploring a deserted Gulf Coast beach, which you can never do enough.
